Carl Overy - Chief Executive Officer - London Market Division
Carl was appointed CEO of the London Market Division in 2008, he joined in June 2001 and was promoted to Chief Actuary in May 2002 when he was responsible for the reserving and pricing of business underwritten in Newline Syndicate 1218. Carl has more than fifteen years of insurance and reinsurance experience in the London Market.
Phil Foley - Active Underwriter
Phil joined NEWLINE in February 2009 as the Active Underwriter at Newline Syndicate 1218. He has over 35 years insurance experience in both underwriting and broking. He has previously worked in the London, Irish and North American markets in a range of senior management roles. Prior to joining NEWLINE, Phil was a Senior Vice President at Liberty International Underwriters Europe.
Robert Kastner - Head of Claims
Robert has been Head of Claims of the London Market Division since joining in 2004. He graduated from the University of Buckingham with a law degree, passed the Law Society Finals Examination and is an admitted solicitor. Robert also has four years experience practicing law in New York having passed the New York Bar Exam. His prior experience includes six years in private practice with Lovell's and Eversheds.
Neil Duncan - Chief Actuary
Neil joined NEWLINE in 2006 as Branch Actuary and was promoted to Chief Actuary in 2008. Prior to this he worked for Alea London as a reinsurance pricing actuary and for five years in commercial lines at Royal & Sun Alliance.
