Newline Insurance Company Limited
Newline Insurance Company Limited ("NICL") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Odyssey Re Holdings Corp., a US-based, multi-national reinsurance and specialty insurance company listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol, ORH.
NICL was formed in 2006, licensed and approved by the FSA, to provide a complementary insurance platform to Newline Syndicate 1218, and provide its customers and brokers more flexibility and greater choice.
NICL is licensed to write insurance throughout the European Community and is able to write facultative reinsurance in most other jurisdictions world-wide
NICL offers the same product suite underwritten by Newline Syndicate 1218 from the same highly skilled underwriters and dedicated claims professionals that have made Newline a recognised market leader in casualty insurance.
In addition, NICL also writes motor insurance on an individual risk basis through retail and wholesale brokers in the UK and on a program basis through wholesale brokers throughout Europe.
NICL are now looking to establish the Company within the UK Regional market and is looking to develop long term relationships with approximately 100 independent insurance brokers situated throughout the UK offering the full range of products currently underwritten.
